Perez instructs Xabi Alonso regarding Vinicius

Florentino Perez, President of Real Madrid, conducted a discussion with the team’s head coach Xabi Alonso. According to journalist Manu Carreño on "Cadena SER," Perez advised Alonso to prevent star player Vinicius Junior from expressing dissatisfaction.

"If you have Vinicius at Real Madrid, you need to ensure he does not get upset. President Perez explained this to Alonso.

Players are the assets of the club, not the coach," Carreño stated during the broadcast. It is known that a month ago, Vinicius reacted strongly and displayed frustration after being substituted during a game against Barcelona.

Additionally, media outlets have reported on issues in the professional relationship between Vinicius and Alonso, which could be influencing the Brazilian forward’s reluctance to extend his contract. Vinicius's current contract is valid until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
