Atletico Madrid targets Mark Gehi


Atletico Madrid has joined the race to sign Crystal Palace's central defender Marc Guehi. The 25-year-old defender has decided not to extend his contract with Crystal Palace, which expires at the end of the season.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Atletico has contacted Guehi and his representatives, expressing serious intent to bring the player into their squad. The England international has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Liverpool.

Starting from January of the new year, Marc Guehi will be eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club. This season, as captain of Crystal Palace, he has played 20 matches, scored one goal, and provided three assists.
