Suspects Who Stole €500,000 Arrested as Police Close the Case

In July 2023, Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his wife faced a horrifying incident. Burglars broke into their home, tied up the footballer and his wife, and stole approximately 500,000 euros worth of cash and valuables.

In April 2024, French police arrested the perpetrators of this crime. According to the publication Le Parisien, the entire group responsible for the robbery has now been dismantled.

Interestingly, some members of the gang were already in prison for other crimes, but their sentences are now expected to be significantly extended. It is worth noting that Donnarumma changed his residence after these events and currently plays for England's "Manchester City" club.
