Football in South America has once again proven to be a game full of unexpected decisions. This time, however, the focus is not on referees' decisions on the field but rather on the changes made by officials in their offices.
In Argentina, the regulations were changed after the regular season had concluded, resulting in a surprising outcome. Instead of crowning "Boca Juniors," the winners of the "Clausura" stage, the title went to Ángel Di María’s team, "Rosario Central," which had accumulated more points overall across the "Apertura" and "Clausura" stages. "Rosario Central" collected a total of 66 points, surpassing "Boca Juniors," who finished with 62 points.
This achievement marks the eighth championship title in the professional history of "Rosario Central."
