Lyupcho Doriyev named "Best Foreign Footballer of the Year"

The Best Foreign Footballer of the Year 2025 in the Super League was awarded to Lyupcho Doriyev, a member of the Sogdiana club. The North Macedonian forward played in 30 matches this season, scoring 16 goals and providing 9 assists, making a significant contribution to his team's success.

Doriyev surpassed other players in the top three nominees for this award, including Bashar Resan (25 games, 5 goals, 6 assists) and Zoran Marusic (24 games, 8 goals, 1 assist).

His productive play and serious level of results made him the shining legionnaire of the season. Doriyev's results are clearly distinguishable compared to other players, and this was one of the most successful seasons in his career.
