PSG Provides Update on Shovale's Condition

Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) press service has provided an update regarding the team's injured players ahead of their Ligue 1 Matchday 15 clash against Rennes. Goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier is likely to miss the match due to health concerns.

As a result, Matvey Safonov has the chance to make his debut in the 2025/2026 season during this game. The club has stated that Chevalier is still in the recovery process.

The same situation applies to Achraf Hakimi, Désiré Doué, Nuno Mendes, and Lucas Beraldo. Safonov has not appeared on the field at all this season.

Reports in the media have suggested that Safonov is dissatisfied with his role at the club and is prepared to leave PSG. Similar rumors have also emerged about Beraldo's situation.

After 14 rounds, PSG occupies second place in the standings with 30 points, trailing league leaders Lens by just one point. The match against Rennes is scheduled to take place on December 6 in Paris.

The game will kick off at 11:05 PM.
