Bologna head coach Vincenzo Italiano, a specialist who previously worked at Fiorentina, commented on the crisis plaguing the "Viola" team. Following the 13th round of the Italian championship, the Florence-based team occupies 19th place in the league standings and is positioned in the relegation zone.

"I am saddened by the difficult situation they have found themselves in. This is an unexpected scenario, but Fiorentina still has time to change everything.

There are wonderful and kind people living there, and I have fond memories of them. Florence is a place that inspires action, but it also has high demands," Italiano told Italia1 television channel in an interview.

In Serie A’s 14th round, Fiorentina will face Sassuolo away. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM Moscow time.
