Training with the missile is expected to begin on Christmas Day

Vincenzo Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, has revealed the expected return timeline for midfielder Jamal Musiala. According to the Belgian coach, the player might resume training close to the Christmas holiday.

"Musiala's recovery will take longer than Davies', but the process is going well. He will be able to participate in a few training sessions before Christmas.

The year 2026 could be a successful year for him," Kompany told the Bayern & Germany publication. During the 2025/2026 season, Musiala has only played in four matches, all of which were part of the Club World Cup held in the United States during the summer.

Following that, the player was sidelined for an extended period due to a fractured shinbone. The 22-year-old footballer’s current contract with Bayern is valid until June 30, 2030.
