Chepchugov Discusses Safonov's Future at PSG

Former CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Sergey Chepchugov has shared his thoughts on Russian compatriot Matvey Safonov’s career at France’s PSG. "If Matvey has been drawn to Paris, he must fight to prove his worth.

If he feels it is necessary to take another path to achieve his dreams and public recognition, he could consider changing clubs," Chepchugov said via Odds.ru. As a reminder, the Russian goalkeeper transferred from Krasnodar to the Parisian giant PSG last summer.

Matvey signed a long-term five-year contract with the club. However, in the current season, Safonov has not played a single match for PSG in the French league.
