Jordan Coach Calls Meeting Messi a Special Moment

Jordan national team head coach Jamal Sellami has shared his thoughts on the draw results for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The team was placed in Group J alongside Argentina, Austria, and Algeria.

"The group is strong, but we also have our chances. Facing Messi is a special event, but there are no coincidences in the World Cup.

In the previous tournament, Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina. Motivation is key for players, and matches against Argentina, Austria, and Algeria will provide valuable experience.

There is no significant gap between teams in global tournaments; we hope to represent Jordanian football in the best way possible," said Sellami to CNA. Jordan is currently ranked 66th in the FIFA rankings.
