Steven Gerrard could become Liverpool head coach

Legendary Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard has been included among the candidates who could replace Arne Slot. The English specialist is reportedly a possible contender to take over as interim head coach of Liverpool, as Dutch manager Arne Slot is expected to be sacked soon.

This was reported by Indykaila News. Additionally, former Ajax coach John Heitinga is also being considered as a candidate for the interim managerial position.

On Saturday, Liverpool missed out on a victory in the final minutes during a 3–3 draw against Leeds. After the match, substitute Mohamed Salah issued a statement about his deteriorating relationship with Arne Slot.
