Fiorentina Sets Anti-Record in Serie A

In the latest round of Italy's Serie A, Fiorentina suffered another defeat. The team remains the only top-flight club this season yet to secure a single victory.

After 14 rounds, Fiorentina has only 6 points. This is 25 points fewer than their performance at the same stage last year.

This marks the steepest decline in the history of Italy's Serie A. The previous record for the largest drop in points belonged to AS Roma.

During the 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 seasons, Roma recorded a 19-point difference between their performances after 14 rounds. In the next round, Fiorentina will face another underperforming team, Verona.
