Xabi Alonso Speaks About Mastantuono


Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso provided an update on the condition of the team's Argentine midfielder Franco Mastantuono. "Franco is continuing his recovery after a groin injury.

Mastantuono needs to work more. He is gradually getting closer to full match readiness," reported the club's press service, quoting the Spanish coach.

Mastantuono joined Real Madrid last summer. His transfer cost the Madrid-based club €45 million.

In the current La Liga season, the 18-year-old midfielder has participated in nine matches, managing to score one goal.
