The World Championship for men, taking place in the increasingly vibrant city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, continues at a high pace as it enters its fourth day of competition. During this stage of the tournament, several representatives from our country took to the ring to showcase their skills. In total, seven of our talented boxers participated, each striving to meet the expectations of their fans.
Among them, the performance of To‘rabek Khabibullayev in the -92 kg weight category stood out significantly. Considered one of the promising boxers of our nation, To‘rabek faced Brazil's Kalil Luan Brasil in the ring, delivering precise and calculated punches to claim dominance. The bout was so intense and one-sided that the opponent declined to continue after the second round. Such a surrender is a rare occurrence in the boxing world and further confirmed Khabibullayev’s physical superiority and tactical brilliance.
This accomplishment by To‘rabek not only secured his advancement to the next stage but also provided a significant morale boost for his teammates. Victories in each part of such competitions enhance the overall atmosphere and positively influence the team's general spirit.
As a reminder, in the upcoming bout, another skilled compatriot, Arman Makhanov, will clash with Belarus representative Uladzislau Smiahlikau. This fight is also expected to be thrilling and deliver unforgettable moments for spectators.
Once again, the Uzbek boxing school is demonstrating its potential, striving for top results on the international stage. With such confident performances in the ring, our young athletes are solidifying the emergence of a new generation on the Asian and global boxing scenes.
