Aranda: Alonso Cannot Be Dismissed

Former "Real" Madrid player Carlos Aranda has commented on the rumors suggesting Xabi Alonso could be dismissed if he produces a poor result in an upcoming match. On Sunday, the Madrid side suffered a 2–0 home defeat against Celta, disappointing their fans.

In an interview with the online publication "Euro-Football.Ru," Aranda stated he does not believe Alonso will be dismissed soon. "Even if they lose to Manchester City, I do not believe that Alonso will be sacked.

The times when the club made hasty decisions are in the past. There are always plenty of rumors surrounding 'Real,' but not all of them are true," said Aranda.

The Champions League match between "Real" Madrid and "Manchester City" will take place on Wednesday, December 10. The game is set to kick off at 23:00 Moscow time.
