A major update was announced in the English Premier League — according to Transfermarkt, the market value of 543 players participating in the league has been reassessed. Despite an overall decrease in value by €237.1 million, the EPL remains the world's most expensive and prestigious league, holding steady at €12.53 billion.
Two players particularly stood out in this latest rating. Erling Haaland, Manchester City's unstoppable goal machine, increased his market value by another €20 million, reaching a remarkable €200 million and consolidating his position as the most valuable player in the world. He now shares the top spot in the global rankings with Barcelona's young superstar Lamine Yamal.
Chelsea's young Brazilian talent Estevao also significantly raised his value, providing another reason for celebration for the London club. Overall, Chelsea witnessed the largest increase in team value compared to other clubs.
Meanwhile, this update did not bring much good news for Liverpool, which has had a challenging season — the value of several players within the team decreased substantially.
According to the updated list, the top 10 most valuable players in the EPL are as follows:

3. Cole Palmer — €120 million
4. Declan Rice — €120 million
5. Alexander Isak — €120 million
6. Florian Wirtz — €110 million
7. Moisés Caicedo — €110 million

9. William Saliba — €90 million
10. Hugo Ekitike — €85 million
Interestingly, the €70 million gap between Haaland and Saka is recorded as the largest difference in the league's history.
