The Men’s World Boxing Championship, currently taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, entered its fifth day, delivering yet another thrilling experience for boxing enthusiasts. Today, four significant bouts involving Uzbek boxers took center stage.
Among the most anticipated clashes was the intense and competitive match in the -57 kg category between Khozhanazar Nortojiyev and India's Sachin. The Indian opponent was a seasoned and experienced athlete, renowned for his performances over the years. However, Nortojiyev demonstrated his strength and resilience in this encounter.
Despite the opponent's experience, our compatriot responded skillfully throughout the match, delivering precise punches and excelling both in offense and defense. The bout was highly intense and exemplified true professionalism.
The expectations were met — the judges unanimously awarded the victory to Nortojiyev based on their collective scoring.
