Barcelona extends contracts with 15 players

The FC Barcelona club has been actively renewing contracts with its players over the past year and a half. Recently, defender Eric García signed a new contract extending until 2031.

According to Barca Universal, the 24-year-old Spanish player became the 15th player to renew his contract during this period. Prior to this, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha Dias, Fermín López, Gavi, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, Marc Casadó, Gerard Martín, Alejandro Balde, Ronald Araújo, Pau Cubarsí, Jules Koundé, and Wojciech Szczęsny also extended their contracts with the club.

Additionally, Barcelona currently leads the La Liga standings after 16 rounds. The Catalan side is ahead of Real Madrid by four points.
