Karim Benzema Comments on Xabi Alonso's Challenges

Former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has shared his thoughts on the challenges Xabi Alonso is currently facing with the team. The Spanish manager is at risk of losing his position with the "royal club" following a series of unsuccessful results.

"Alonso cannot do much in this situation – his squad is very strong, and he has to field the best players. It’s a complex matter.

Every star has their own ego. As a coach, it is always important to maintain communication with players and make each of them understand how they can benefit the team.

The problem arises when someone in the team cannot accept that another player is scoring more goals than them. This scenario is especially prevalent in teams with several star players," Benzema told L'Equipe in an interview.

He is currently playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad. Sunday’s match against Alaves could potentially be Xabi Alonso’s last game as the head coach for Real Madrid.
