Erling Haaland: Excited to Play at Santiago Bernabéu

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland shared his impressions after the match against Real Madrid. On Wednesday, Manchester City secured a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the sixth round of the Champions League group stage.

The Norwegian striker scored a goal from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute, setting the final score of the match. "I always enjoy playing at the Santiago Bernabéu.

It's an incredible venue. The new format of the Champions League gives us more opportunities for such matches, and I really like that," Haaland said.

"Last time, we lost to Bayer, and if we hadn't won today, the situation could have become much more complicated. These three points were crucial for reaching the quarterfinals.

Now we need to perform well in the remaining matches and finish what we started," the footballer added in an interview with City Report. Manchester City is currently in fourth place in the tournament standings with 13 points.
