Matvey Safonov discusses his debut matches at PSG

Goalkeeper Matvey Safonov of France's "PSG" club shared his thoughts on his debut matches in the current season. The Russian goalkeeper was brought into the main squad after the team's primary goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier, suffered an injury.

"Honestly, the emotions from the game fade away within two or three days. It's one thing to prepare and sit on the bench; it's completely different to prepare and take the field.

Whether one needs to adapt to such a regime or not, we'll see," Safonov wrote on social media. It is worth noting that Safonov concluded two matches with a "clean sheet."

Under the leadership of Luis Enrique, the team defeated "Rennes" 5–0 in Ligue 1 with the Russian goalkeeper and recorded a 0–0 draw against "Athletic Bilbao" during a UEFA Champions League match.
