Liverpool and Chelsea leading in the first half

On Saturday evening, the 16th round of the English Premier League began with the initial matches. Chelsea hosted Everton, while Liverpool welcomed Brighton, both leading in the first half.

Chelsea concluded the first half with a 2-0 lead. The scoring was opened by Cole Palmer, who returned to the field after recovering from an injury.

For Palmer, this was his first goal post-recovery. London club’s second goal was netted by Malo Gusto.

Liverpool, on the other hand, is leading 1-0 against Brighton. Just 46 seconds into the match, Hugo Ekitike scored for the "Reds," marking the fastest goal of the current Premier League season.
