Arteta comments on hard-fought victory over Wolverhampton

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta shared his thoughts after his team's match against Wolverhampton, which ended in a 2-1 victory. The Gunners took the lead in the 70th minute thanks to an own goal from the opposing team.
However, in the 90th minute, Wolves equalized. The decisive moment came in added time when, in the 94th minute, the hosts benefited from another own goal.
“It was a game that resembled a real ‘roller coaster.’ Throughout the match, we gave Wolverhampton hope, which forced us to increase the tempo and take more risks.
After the first goal, we played too passively for a while, positioned ourselves too deep in defense. Towards the end of the game, I was pleased with the players’ reactions, but overall, we didn’t perform well enough today.
The most important thing, however, is that we found a way to win, but there are areas we need to work on,” said Arteta, as quoted by the BBC. Arsenal currently leads the Premier League standings with 36 points.
Manchester City is five points behind, with a game in hand. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
