Sevilla secures dominant victory over Real Oviedo

In the 16th round of La Liga, "Sevilla" hosted "Real Oviedo" at home and secured a 4-0 victory. In the 4th minute of the match, Akor Adams opened the scoring.

Midway through the first half, Djibril Sow doubled the lead for the home team from a pass by Adams. In the 51st minute, Adams made another assist, allowing Baptiste Mensah to bring the score to 3-0.

In the 83rd minute, "Real Oviedo" was reduced to 10 men after David Carmo received a second yellow card for consecutive fouls on Chidera Ejuke and Manu Bueno and was sent off. In the 89th minute, following a defensive error by "Real Oviedo," Ejuke capitalized on the opportunity and set the final score at 4-0.

After the 16th round, "Sevilla" holds the 8th position with 20 points. "Real Oviedo," with half as many points, is placed second to last in the league standings.
