Flick Comments on Ter Stegen's Future


The head coach of Catalonia's FC Barcelona, Hans-Dieter Flick, has spoken about the future of the German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen. According to media reports, the goalkeeper may change clubs in January.

"It will be his decision. We have discussed this issue.

I respect him as a player; he is a fantastic goalkeeper. Ter Stegen has a choice to make," ESPN quoted Flick as saying.

Earlier, reports surfaced in the press that Istanbul's Beşiktaş is showing interest in Ter Stegen's transfer. The German goalkeeper's current contract with the "Blaugrana" is valid until the summer of 2027.

Ter Stegen's market value is estimated at €7 million.
