John Terry calls on Chelsea to bring back Thiago Silva

Former Chelsea captain John Terry has urged the club to bring back Thiago Silva. The 41-year-old Brazilian defender has decided to leave Fluminense and aims to test his skills in Europe again, hoping to join Brazil’s national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to Transfer News Live, Terry described Silva as a free agent with tremendous experience: "Thiago Silva is available! He is very experienced and has great chemistry with our club.

His two children are part of Chelsea’s academy. I would be delighted if he played for us again."

Thiago Silva joined Fluminense in the summer of 2024 after playing for four years with the London club.
