Sources indicate that the Red Devils have shortlisted three candidates for a potential signing: Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest), Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace), and Carlos Baleba (Brighton). The club's top priority is to add Baleba to the squad.

After 16 rounds of the English Premier League, Manchester United has accumulated 26 points, placing them 7th in the league standings. The team, under the leadership of Ruben Amorim, is currently 10 points behind league leaders Arsenal.
