
Eintracht fans caused disturbances during a recent match against Barcelona at Camp Nou stadium. UEFA found the German club guilty of throwing various objects onto the pitch, using pyrotechnics, and causing damage to the stadium and its infrastructure.
UEFA's decisions are as follows: 1) The previously conditional penalty is now enforced: Eintracht is banned from selling tickets to their next away match in UEFA tournaments. 2) A fine of €30,000 has been imposed, along with another ban on ticket sales for one additional away match in UEFA tournaments.
3) An additional fine of €8,000 has been imposed for the damages caused. 4) Eintracht is required to contact Barcelona within 30 days to resolve the issue of compensation for damages to the restroom facilities in the visitor section.
