Flick Tests Full-Back in Right-Back Position

Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick plans to continue experimenting with midfielder Marc Casado as a right-back. The 22-year-old recently played in the right-back position during a Spanish Cup match against Deportivo Guadalajara.

The match concluded with a 2-0 victory, and Casado played until the 75th minute before being substituted. According to Marca, Flick will continue considering Casado as one of the options for the right-back role going forward.

The midfielder will remain among the primary alternatives, along with Eric García, as a backup for Jules Koundé at least until the end of the season. On Sunday, Barcelona will face Villarreal in a La Liga match.
