Marcus Thuram scores fastest goal in Italian Super Cup history

Italy's Inter Milan concluded its participation in the Italian Super Cup by losing to Bologna in the semifinal stage. Despite the loss, the team, managed by Romanian coach Cristian Chivu, started the match exceptionally well: just 72 seconds into the game, striker Marcus Thuram opened the score, putting Inter in the lead.

It was revealed that Thuram's goal was the fastest in the history of the Italian Super Cup. Previously, the tournament had only recorded a goal scored in the second minute: Robbie Keane achieved this in the 2000 clash between Lazio and Inter.

This time, however, Thuram broke the record by scoring a few seconds earlier.
