London's Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta shared his thoughts following the team's 1-0 victory against Everton in an away match. The match's only goal was scored in the 27th minute through a penalty skillfully converted by Viktor Gyökeres.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Arteta emphasized that defeating Everton on their home ground is always a challenge. According to him, Arsenal had moments of clear dominance in the first half, and although there weren’t many clear scoring opportunities, the team still managed to find the net.
In the second half, however, the Gunners failed to capitalize on three excellent chances. The coach noted the importance of making the most out of such opportunities in the Premier League, which would allow for a calmer approach toward the end of matches.
Following this victory, Arsenal has maintained their lead in the English Premier League standings, holding two points ahead of Manchester City. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
