FIFA has taken another important step towards reducing controversial episodes in football. The organization is testing a new technology that can accurately determine whether the ball has crossed the field boundary before a goal is scored.
This innovation, called "Out of Bounds," was used as an experiment in three matches of the Intercontinental Cup held this month in Qatar. The main task of the innovation is to identify cases where the ball has completely gone out of the field within milliseconds and make the judges' decisions more reliable. This is especially crucial in controversial situations that occur before goals.

At the same time, FIFA has expanded the use of "Real-time 3D Recreation" technology to make the offside marking process faster and clearer for fans. Now there are two separate virtual broadcasts for VAR referees and TV viewers, which show the situation on the field from the point of view of both goalkeepers. This serves to minimize the human factor in decision-making.
The new developments were created in partnership with Hawk-Eye Innovations. This company has previously made significant contributions to improving accuracy in football through goal line technology and VAR solutions.

It has not yet been officially announced whether these innovations will be implemented in future national championships. However, experts believe that if the trials are successful, FIFA can gradually popularize them, starting with major international tournaments.
In short, football is taking another step towards fair and precise decisions. This makes the game more reliable and exciting not only for the referees but also for millions of fans.
