Konrad Laimer, midfielder for Bayern Munich, has been named Austria's Best Footballer of the Year, according to the country's football association's press service.
In the voting process, the midfielder secured a confident victory with 51 points. The second place went to RB Leipzig midfielder Christoph Baumgartner (16 points), while third place was claimed by Red Star Belgrade forward Marko Arnautovic (15 points).
"Receiving this award is a great honor for me. It motivates me to keep moving forward and continue my efforts," said Konrad.
