Alip Comments on Cherchesov's Unsuccessful Tenure with Kazakhstan National Team

Nuraly Alip, a Kazakh player of Zenit, shared his thoughts on Stanislav Cherchesov's tenure as the head coach of the Kazakhstan national football team. Alip stated that he considers Cherchesov to be a high-level coach.

In his view, the Russian specialist simply did not have enough time to prepare the team. “Many players, especially, get limited playtime at their clubs and join the national team without sufficient match practice, making it hard for them to keep up with the pace.

Matches of national teams are always challenging,” Alip's words were quoted by Metaratings. Cherchesov managed the Kazakhstan national team from July 2024 to January 2025.

Under his leadership, the team played six matches without scoring a single goal. Since September, the 62-year-old Cherchesov has been working with Akhmat.
