Gasperini: Roma made mistakes first, then came out on top

In the final match of Round 17 of Italy’s Serie A, Roma confidently beat Genoa at home. The hosts scored three goals before the break and decided the outcome in the first half. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini said after the match that the team made technical mistakes early on, but later increased their attacking sharpness and created many dangerous chances. The coach added that he wanted a higher-quality second half, but after scoring three in the first half it was understandable that the tempo dropped.

This win allowed Roma to return to fourth place in the Serie A standings.
