Renowned coach Fabio Capello, who previously managed AC Milan as well, noted that Inter have started playing a more pragmatic brand of football since Cristian Kivu arrived. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
As an example, Capello cited the match against Atalanta: the Milan side focused on holding on to a narrow win.
The expert highlighted a late-game episode in particular. According to him, Kivu ultimately took Lautaro off and brought on a midfielder instead. Capello believes it was a pragmatic decision aimed at protecting the scoreline, something not very typical of Inter’s style in the recent past.
Inter currently top the Serie A standings.
