Italian club Roma are considering the option of signing forward Mohamed Salah in the summer of 2026. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
It is noted that the Egyptian footballer, although he returned to Liverpool after disagreements with head coach Arne Slot, has been lacking consistency in his performances.
According to La Repubblica, Saudi Arabian clubs are no longer showing serious interest in signing Salah. Therefore, Roma are currently seen as the main contender for the player.
Salah has previously played for the Wolves: he featured for the Rome club in 2016–2017 and moved to Liverpool from there.
In the 2025/2026 season, the 33-year-old forward made 20 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists. His market value is estimated at €30 million.
