Chelsea winger Pedro Neto shared his thoughts on saying goodbye to the club’s head coach Enzo Maresca. The Italian specialist stepped down on January 1, 2026, after leading the team for a year and a half. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
According to Neto, the news came as a surprise to him: the coach had shown himself in a positive light, the team had a very strong run under him last season, and results this season had not been bad either.
“For me, it’s sad. Enzo helped me a lot, and I learned a lot from him. As a person, he’s also very good. I can only express my gratitude,” Neto told Sky Sports.
According to sources, the leading candidate to replace Maresca at Chelsea is Liam Rosenior, who is currently in charge of Strasbourg.
