After impressive performances at the U-17 World Cup, a transfer battle has intensified around Austria national team defender Ifeani Ndukve. According to Kurier.at, English club Liverpool are leading the race. This is reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
According to the source, the centre-back will leave Austria Vienna next summer and move to a Premier League club. The exact fee has not been disclosed yet. Earlier in April, Inter Milan also tried to sign Ndukve, but the 198 cm-tall player with Nigerian and Russian roots preferred to stay with the team at the time.
This season, Ndukve has played 1 match in the UEFA Youth League and also made 7 appearances in Austria’s second division for Austria’s reserve team.
