Talk of the Brazilian leaving the “Royal” club has been going on for a long time. Romano denied rumors that Rodrygo could be sold in January, but confirmed there was genuine interest in him.
According to Romano, PSG closely monitored Rodrygo’s situation last summer — he was seen as a candidate who could replace Barcola. Manchester City also showed serious interest: the Rodrygo option was considered in case a potential departure of Savio emerged.
Transfermarkt values the 24-year-old Real Madrid player at €60 million.
