Liam Rosenior, who is expected to take over Chelsea, has already told the club’s hierarchy which player he wants to strengthen the squad with. The 41-year-old coach has not yet officially ended his job at Strasbourg, but an announcement of his appointment to the London club is expected in the coming days. This is reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
According to Indykaila News, Rosenior asked the Blues’ bosses to bring in Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi. The 25-year-old is said to become a free agent at the end of the season.
However, signing the Eagles’ captain will not be easy: other English clubs as well as top teams abroad are also interested in Guehi.
Liam Rosenior is expected to take over at Chelsea, replacing Enzo Maresca, who left the role on January 1.
