After Atalanta’s win over Roma in Serie A Round 18, head coach Raffaele Palladino shared his thoughts on the match. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
The Bergamo side won 1–0 at home. The only goal of the match was scored by Giorgio Scalvini in the 12th minute.
“We showed real Atalanta football — with high intensity and courage. That’s exactly what I demanded, that’s what we prepared for, and I’m proud of my boys,” Palladino told Sky Sport Italia.
The coach called the evening “magical” and added that he couldn’t imagine a better start to the year.
Thanks to this victory, Atalanta moved up to eighth place in the league table.
