Midway through the second half, Brazilian forward David Neres, who has been in good form lately, was unable to continue due to injury and left the field.
The club later said the player suffered an ankle injury. It could be serious: according to calcionapoli1926.it, Neres left the stadium on crutches.
As a reminder, Neres has been playing for Napoli since 2024. He previously featured for Ajax and Benfica as well.
