Carlsen reacts to Manchester United coach resignation

World chess star Magnus Carlsen commented on Ruben Amorim stepping down as head coach of Manchester United. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

Carlsen wrote on social media: “MU spent a whole year assessing the situation.”

The “Red Devils” officially announced on Monday, January 5, that they had parted ways with the Portuguese specialist. Amorim had been in charge since autumn 2024.

Manchester United are currently 6th in the league table with 31 points. The Mancunians will play their next match on January 7 against Burnley, kick-off at 01:15 (Tashkent time).
