Di Marzio: Maignan’s new contract is close

Renowned Italian insider journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported significant progress in talks between Milan and French goalkeeper Mike Maignan. According to him, the parties are closer than ever to an agreement. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to Di Marzio, the new deal could run until 2031, and Maignan’s salary would rise to one of the highest in the club—on the same level as Leao. A final decision is expected in the coming days.

As a reminder, Maignan’s current contract expires in the summer of 2026. He has been playing for Milan since 2021 and became an Italian champion in his very first season with the club.
