Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has commented on the future of the team’s goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. The 38-year-old’s current contract expires this summer. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
“Neuer has done a great deal for the club. He will soon be close to 40, but Manuel is still performing at a high level. We will sit down at the negotiating table and discuss a new contract,” Bayern&Germany quoted Eberl as saying.
It is worth recalling that Neuer has been representing the Munich side since the summer of 2011.
This season, the goalkeeper has played 20 matches and conceded 21 goals. He kept a clean sheet in six games.
