The English footballer came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute, replacing Raphinha, who scored a brace and became the match hero.
“I’m very happy. This is my first trophy with Barcelona, and the first win is always the sweetest. I hope we win a few more cups this season,” said the 28-year-old.
Rashford noted that the team showed its full potential and said he would give everything for victory in the next match as well. “For now, we just need to enjoy this moment,” Gazeta.Ru quotes him as saying.
For the record, Marcus Rashford has joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United until the end of the current season.
