Inter centre-back Alessandro Bastoni shared his thoughts on the clash with Napoli striker Rasmus Hojlund. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The match played on Sunday ended in a 2–2 draw. Although the Danish forward did not register a goal or an assist, Bastoni, the leader of the Nerazzurri defence, praised his performance highly.
“It was very difficult to play against Hojlund; he’s an incredibly strong player. I don’t remember him playing this well at Atalanta, but it didn’t surprise me. We knew we were facing a very good team — they have many quality players,” Bastoni was quoted by Inter’s press service via Gazeta.Ru.
Cristian Chivu’s side took the lead twice during the match but failed to hold on. Federico Dimarco and Hakan Calhanoglu scored for the hosts, while Scott McTominay netted a brace for the visitors.
