Former Italian footballer Paolo Di Canio recalled Antonio Conte’s earlier working style and compared him with Simone Inzaghi. Although Conte is currently in charge of Napoli, Di Canio focused his remarks on the period when the coach worked at Milan’s Inter. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Di Canio, Conte’s main legacy at Inter was instilling a mentality of fighting for results at any cost. He said Conte applied positive pressure on the team, pushing everyone to work to the last drop and never stop.
Inzaghi, Di Canio believes, chose a somewhat freer approach: he didn’t squeeze the players too much and didn’t force them to “die” for the result. Di Canio’s words were quoted by fcinter1908.it.
