Ahead of the new season, Bukhara FC have signed another foreign player to further strengthen the squad. This time, the club turned its attention to Rayong defender Velko Filipovich and reached an agreement to bring him in.
Centre-back Velko Filipovich stands 1.97 meters tall, which makes him highly effective in aerial duels and various one-on-one situations. The club’s management highly valued his physical attributes and defensive experience.
Rayong compete in Thailand’s First League, and this season Velko Filipovich has made 12 appearances in the competition. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is estimated at €250,000, which is seen as a strategic investment for Bukhara.
With the player joining, Bukhara will reinforce their central defensive line, improve defensive efficiency, and play an important role in achieving strong results in the new season. The transfer is generating significant interest among fans and adds extra strength to the club’s tactical plans.
